Paintings – sometimes this is the icon of art itself. When you say the word art, paintings or portraits would instantly pop inside everyone’s mind. Adorning the walls with these artworks is an eternal rule of interior designing. A perfect house wouldn’t be perfect without paintings hanging over the wall, highlighting the space and the lovely wallpaper or wall paint. But lately, I would highly recommend paintings that are close to nature to be adorned on every house’s wall. Why? With all the global warming issues and climate change, the love for Mother Nature should be exercised by everyone, in order to show our love for our only planet. And not everyone is aware that there are paintings made truly for nature that will fit any bare wall. Here are some samples:

  • SCENERY PAINTINGS – what’s so good about scenery paintings is that usually they are made with such luscious and strong colors. The details also are very fine, and most scenery paintings revolve around nature. I think scenery paintings should be put in the living room or on the walls by the staircases. They would immediately catch anyone’s attention, especially the guests.
  • VARIOUS ROOM PAINTINGS – room paintings are best matched with, of course, rooms. The bed room, the guests’ rooms or the masters’ bedroom, you name it! Piece of advice, if you’re gonna put up a room painting inside a room; make sure the two matches in theme and concept. You don’t want to put up a luxurious room painting inside a very simple one. Be creative, that’s the ticket.
  • CABIN PAINTINGS – I must admit that my favorite would be this category. Cabin paintings never fail to amaze me and get me staring at them for a couple of minutes without blinking. They are always painting with great sceneries, like a cabin with the vast snowy mountain behind it, or a cabin near the woods. Cabin paintings that centralize over the inside of the cabin are also such eye-candies. Just like a certain one where there was a warm and comfy fireplace on a very chilly night. The paintings are like magical!
  • ANIMAL PAINTINGS – this is the closest set of paintings to nature-loving. Animals such as deer, moose, bear, and wolf are the usual stars on animal rustic paintings. They definitely give out the feeling of nature, like you are entwined with it. Animal paintings are best on rooms where you relax, or where you might spend some time with your pet if you have one. You can actually put animal paintings anywhere, even the bathroom. As long as it won’t outshine anything else in the interior design.
  • ABSTRACT PAINTING – there are abstract paintings that shows the love for Mother Earth. Sometimes, art is best portrayed on abstract. Its complexity and strange depicting would liven up any space in your lovely home. Just think beyond, match the painting with the right furniture accessory. Make sure they would fit and not sore in the eyes, interior designing is all about synchronization, and love for nature can easily be shown with the right type of paintings and furniture matched as one.
